State and Territory Energy Offices are advancing the deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI) as part of broader electrification efforts. At the same time, State Energy Offices are implementing State Energy Security Plans in support of energy security and cybersecurity policy goals, while also continuing to lead their state’s energy emergency planning efforts. With EV adoption on the rise, there is an important and timely opportunity to elevate cybersecurity risks to EV infrastructure and better incorporate cybersecurity principles into EVCI deployment programs. This webinar will highlight the cyber risks of EVCI and their connection to the electric grid. The Zero Emission Transportation Association (ZETA) and Idaho National Laboratory (INL) will share insights on risk mitigation opportunities and avenues for collaboration with private industry to ensure that EVCI programs are secure and resilient.
