On December 2-3, 2019, the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), in partnership with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), conducted an Energy Security and Data Analysis Workshop at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall (located at 480 L’Enfant Plaza SW, Washington, DC 20024).
The workshop, which was supported by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER), was intended to build state and local government capacity to attain, interpret, and make decisions based on relevant open and closed-source energy emergency data. State and local energy officials, emergency managers, homeland security directors, utility commissioners, legislators, and governors’ energy advisors were invited to attend from across the United States.
