NASEO 2018 Hurricane Season Preparedness Webinar

June 12, 2018, 3:00 - 4:00 PM ET

Last year, Hurricanes Maria, Irma, Nate and Harvey left a path of destruction across communities from Texas to Puerto Rico from which residents are still attempting to recover from today. Although the final costs of those storms will not be known for several years current estimates total more than $200 billion. Last month the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center released its forecast for the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season.

The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) invites you to participate in a 2018 hurricane season preparedness webinar on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm ET. Webinar presenters include:

- Dr. Gerry Bell, lead for the Atlantic Seasonal Hurricane Outlook, who will discuss NOAA's predictions; and
- Kate Marks, from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER), who will discuss CESER's hurricane preparedness activities and initiatives.
