Over the past year, NASEO has partnered with the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC) and Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) to promote private sector investment in the deployment of alternative fuel vehicles and fueling infrastructure. This call will provide an update on this effort, with a specific focus on project activity that would be of interest to Energy Offices and their partners. Among the items to be discussed is VEIC’s development of the country’s first Transportation Efficiency Technical Reference Manual, which will be used for calculating savings and cost-effectiveness of electric vehicle charging and fuel-switching. Additionally, C2ES will provide an overview of its upcoming case study on “Applying the Energy Service Company (ESCO) Model to the Alternative Fuel Vehicle and Infrastructure Market.”
