Maryland Energy Administration Announces $10 Million in Grants for Colleges and Universities

As part of Maryland’s Fiscal Year 2025 Higher Education Clean Energy Grant Pilot Program, the Maryland Energy Administration has announced awards to 11 colleges and universities across the state for solar projects, the development of energy master plans, and internships and trainings. The $10.17 million in grant funds come from the Maryland Strategic Energy Investment Fund, which aims to reduce energy bills, minimize energy waste, create jobs, promote energy independence, and improve reliability and resiliency.
