Franklin Energy has received the Edison Electric Institute Prime Leadership Award in recognition of its inclusion, outreach, and mentoring efforts supporting supplier diversity. According to a press release, “Franklin Energy’s 2021 spend with diverse suppliers represents more than 19 percent of their total sourceable spend. This was an increase of more than 3 percent over 2020, with diverse spend in several their energy efficiency programs exceeding 50%.”
