NASEO and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) convene State Energy Offices, State Departments of Transportation, and State Environmental Agencies to explore best practices, policy and regulatory challenges, and technologies to better integrate EVs with the electrical grid. Discussions include topics on improving utility coordination and information sharing; exploring grid edge technologies to minimize impacts to the electrical grid and bring EV chargers online quicker; and identifying universal procurement strategies for EV charging installation and strategies to incentivize early utility coordination and grid edge technologies.
