Join NASEO for the next NASEO Distribution Working Group Meeting (open to all States and Affiliates), Utilizing ICF’s Holistic Energy Resource Optimization (HERO) Platform, scheduled on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM ET. During this call, NASEO affiliate partner ICF will walk through the ICF HERO platform, which aims to enhance the generation, transmission, and distribution planning processes and offer a more informed, integrated, and efficient approach to decision-making. To better plan for resource adequacy and reliability, the ICF HERO modeling framework integrates elements of traditional supply- and demand-side planning into a single platform and allows for the evaluation of a variety of policy, technology, and market-based scenarios. This enables policymakers to identify the scenarios deemed most cost-effective from an investment, rate, and macroeconomic perspective and then more effectively present recommendations and alternatives to stakeholders.
