NASEO Webinar - ENERGY STAR Update for Statewide K-12 Efficiency Programs

January 18, 2018, 3:00 - 4:00 PM ET

The NASEO Buildings Committee and ENERGY STAR Task Force will host an ENERGY STAR Update webinar on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 3:00 to 4:00pm ET to educate State Energy Offices on the availability and benefits of the ENERGY STAR Program offered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This webinar will showcase best practices from the state of Texas and will provide an overview of ENERGY STAR tools, resources, and initiatives. In 2017, Texas certified 352 K-12 schools more than any other state in the nation for the year. Cumulatively, Texas has certified 987 K-12 schools representing 11 percent of their K-12 schools.   Over the past three years Texas has seen their number of ENERGY STAR certified K-12 schools grow by 68 percent.
