As state government budgets are limited in the amounts of funding they have available to directly lend, finding new ways to partner with the private sector may unlock the capital needed to develop additional energy resources within the state. Speakers in this sector will provide an overview of PPPs and how they have been utilized to catalyze energy investments by the private sector. The state of Virginia will discuss its Commonwealth Energy Fund initiative and the partnerships it has developed to spur increased clean energy deployment.
