Serve as the State Energy Office's (SEO) Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage subject matter expert and lead research analyst on engineering and technical matters focused on: Electric Vehicles and EV Charging infrastructure; Energy Storage, particularly battery storage but inclusive of other emerging energy storage technologies; and How electric vehicle charging infrastructure and energy storage may impact the grid. Provide policy and technical guidance, direction and expertise to management and staff on programmatic development as well as difficult and sensitive cases, dockets and policy initiatives, including energy storage, interconnection, infrastructure placement and planning.
