On July 8, 2015, NASEO's Executive Director, David Terry, participated in a panel presentation on energy infrastructure modernization with the directors of three National Laboratories; Melanie Kenderdine, Director of DOE's Office Energy Policy and Systems Analysis; and the President of the Edison Electric Institute. The presentation was a part of a Congressional Briefing on the activities of the labs and on state actions in support of energy infrastructure modernization. Mr. Terry provided a number of examples of State Energy Offices' recent activities in the areas of state energy planning and related energy infrastructure resilience actions. Deputy Secretary of Energy Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall introduced the panel and made brief remarks.
