House Subcommittee on Energy Holds Hearing on the State of the Nation’s Energy Infrastructure

On February 27 the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Energy held a hearing to explore challenges and opportunities related to the maintenance, modernization, and development of energy infrastructure in the United States. The hearing was held in response to the Administration’s recently announced Infrastructure Initiative which provides a legislative outline for rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure. Representatives from the National Resources Defense Council, HDR, Inc., San Jacinto College, City of Schenectady, International Brotherhood of Electric Workers Construction and Maintenance Department, and ITC Holdings Corporation provided expert witness testimony to members of the committee.
