The Role of CHP in 111(d) Compliance Webinar

January 29, 2015, 4:00 - 5:00 PM ET
Webinar/Virtual Meeting

Please join NASEO for a webinar on the role that combined heat and power (CHP), also called cogeneration, may be able to play in state plans to achieve their goals under the EPA’s proposed Section 111(d) rule. While CHP’s potential contribution varies by state, studies have shown significant potential for expanding CHP across the country, especially in the Southeast and Great Lakes region. This webinar will explore options for including CHP and other commercial/industrial energy efficiency programs in state 111(d) compliance plans, and the role state energy and environmental agencies and other stakeholders can play to facilitate the process. The speakers will also discuss a CHP-111(d) pilot project that could help other states identify an appropriate strategy for including CHP in 111(d) compliance plans.
