iREV Policy Workshop

January 10, 2017
Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce
Denver, CO

NASEO’s Initiative for Resiliency in Energy through Vehicles (iREV) is a nation-wide project that has developed resources that energy and emergency planners and policymakers can use to integrate alternative fuel vehicles into emergency planning and response activities. This workshop, co-hosted by NASEO and the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices, will convene state energy and emergency management policy officials to identify strategies to incorporate alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) effectively into state energy assurance plans (EAPs) and emergency operations plans (EOPs) to improve fleet reliability. Participants will learn about the resources and opportunities available through iREV, and sessions will follow a roundtable discussion format, with all attendees encouraged to participate actively by asking questions, sharing their experiences and offering recommendations.

This workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 10 from 8:30am – 3pm in Denver, Colorado (location TBD). Lunch will be provided and registration is free. Please RSVP to Dan Lauf, NGA Senior Policy Analyst, Environment, Energy & Transportation Division, at dlauf@nga.org or 202-624-5427.
