The NASEO Energy Equity Committee was established in June 2020 by the NASEO Board of Directors with the passage of the resolution "Commitment to Equity, Access, and Inclusion." The Committee is open to all State and Territory Energy Offices and NASEO Affiliate members and serves as a forum to share resources and best practices on a range of cross-cutting energy equity topics, including community engagement, development of metrics and indicators, mapping projects, and access to programs and funding. The Committee meets virtually on a bimonthly basis and is led by the State Energy Office Co-Chairs and Leadership Group with support from NASEO staff.
